Biography
Dr. Melonie Owusu, DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC, AAHIVS, AACRN, is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in HIV and select infectious diseases. She brings over a decade of clinical experience and a strong track record of leadership in HIV care and prevention.
Certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVS) and the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (AACRN), Dr. Owusu provides comprehensive care in HIV management and prevention (PrEP and nPEP), STIs, Hepatitis C, women’s health, and primary care. She also addresses emerging infectious diseases as they arise. Dr. Owusu manages a diverse patient panel, with a focus on prevention, early diagnosis, and continuity of care.
As a regional educator with a national training center, she delivers impactful education to both communities and emerging healthcare professionals. She is currently expanding her clinical expertise through advanced training in colposcopy and high-resolution anoscopy.
Her mission is to advance health equity and play a leading role in ending the HIV epidemic within her lifetime.
