Biography

Ann Bonti, RN, BSN is a labor & delivery and medical surgical nurse that started her nursing career on a cardiovascular stepdown unit at Grant Medical Center, Ohio Health.

Ann Bonti, RN, BSN is a labor & delivery and medical surgical nurse that started her nursing career on a cardiovascular stepdown unit at Grant Medical Center, Ohio Health. Since then she has worked as a travel nurse in several states which has given her the opportunity & experience with giving care to people from many different populations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2015 from then Chamberlain College of Nursing now known as Chamberlain University. She is a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses, American Nurses Association, Texas Nurses Association, and an American Heart Association CPR Instructor. Ann has also served as a nurse mentor, clinical instructor, and preceptor to nursing students & new graduates.

Ann is also a nurse missionary which her passion for providing care for under-resourced communities started before nursing school. She has volunteered with local churches & organizations at homeless shelters, school of the deaf, recreation centers, etc, before she started nursing school. Luckily, she was given the opportunity to travel with her school as a student in 2015 to the Philippines to provide nursing care and work on The Reproductive Health Bill Project. Since then she has traveled as a nurse missionary to Bangladesh, Liberia, Ghana, etc. As she currently pursues a Nurse Practitioners degree at Walden University she aspires to be a global health leader who not only provides medical care, but a realistic strategy for under-resourced communities to sustain a system that provides adequate healthcare for their people.
